Rose Flavoured Peda Recipe
Ingredients:
18-20 fresh rose petals
3 tbsp milk
2 tbsp ghee/clarified butter
1/3 cup of milk
1/2 cup milk powder
1 tsp green cardamom powder
1/4 cup powdered sugar
Method:
1) First of all wash the rose petals nicely and add them into the mixture grinder with 3 tbsp of milk and grind it nicely in fine and smooth texture.
2) Take a non stick pan add 2 tbsp of ghee and let it melt.
3) Once the ghee is nicely melted add the 1/3 cup of milk into this and stir it continuously for 2-3 minutes.
4) Now add 1/2 cup of milk powder into this and stir it continuously for couple of minutes or until it becomes lumps free.
5) After that once you see slight change in the texture add the rose and milk mixture which we have already prepared.
6) Now mix everything very well and stir continuously for atleast 15 minutes or until it becomes nice and thick.
7) After 15-20 minutes you will notice that the mixture will become thick and soft.
8) Do not overcook it. Take it out in a plate when this is soft and thick.
9) Now let it come to the warm temperature.
10) Once this is little comes to the warm temperature or able to handle, you can start making the Pede lie round shape.
11) You can also give design on top of it with the help of tooth pick like star.
